George Byrne (WI) - September 13th 2011
I wish that I had seen this DVD before I lifted a barbell the first time in 1964. The big 5 lifts are covered by taking the viewer step-by step through the deadlift, squat, bench press, press, and power clean. Actual male and female students execute the steps in the lifts and the lifts themselves under the direction of Mark Rippentoe. These students have a variety of physical structures and varying abilities. Corrections to errors are made promptly, calmly, and rationally. The DVD is worth every penny of its price. I learned a lot. By the way, some weight training writers do not recommend the power clean, because it is often taught badly. Now you can put the power clean on your to do list.
